I’d like to think there is a talented group out there that can stage a drag parody of Kacsmaryk and other GOP haters to throw it back in their face. Something that artisticly changes them from Santorum into santorum.

Yep, drag was seen as the morally superior alternative to letting actual women appear on stage. I was just limiting myself to some of the plays where the cross-dressing was embedded in the text.
