Trump’s need for constant validation of his personal greatness is directly in opposite proportion to his ability to actually earn even a shred of respect.

The legal distinction would come down in part to Trump’s behavior during his speech. If he uses the July 4 pulpit to harangue political enemies, discuss the election, or solicit donations somehow, that could render the hour-long Salute To America a Trump campaign event, according to Noble.

A long-time tradition for the wife and me was to turn on PBS’ coverage of The Capitol Fourth and watch it twice (in our market it is run back-to-back). In years past, it was a helluva old-time TV variety show. It was also nice to see Congressional members and their families be civil towards each other, even those of the “wrong” party. Ironically, the non-profit TV network was also the first one to televise the fireworks in HD.
The F’ing Moron has now ruined the 4th of July for us. I hope the narcissistic bastard is happy.
