It’s almost certain that consumers are changing their purchasing habits though. Stocking up on items that might become scarce, fixing up present cars instead of purchasing new ones at inflated prices. Putting off discretionary purchases, like new electronic devices, cameras, etc.

It would seem the most straightforward solution would be to simply stop importing all those worthless goods we get in exchange for our ‘subsidies.’
Cut the subsidies, too, and then everyone will see what’s going on.

Well, I’m sure the GOP is very happy with the increased diversity of “thought” these groups represent.
On a more serious note, sadly this is functionally no different than the youth groups the Christian Nationalists have been running for decades. There is the deception that the Christian Nationalists are teaching about Jesus and patriotism, but the actual end results are indistinguishable.
