I grew arugula in the garden once, which was enough.
All Trump has done is reval the power that the GOP holds. A GOP leader can do anything, attack anything, and still be treated as the messiah. They - the GOP - are above the law.
Control of the media, control of the corporations, and control of the deep beat of the racist American heart.
They’ve been a vicious and power hungry minority fleecing the Fed since the Civil War, and now they are back in the light.
Cockroaches.
There a weird dichotomy here; when the felon sues a journalist, it’s in his role as a private citizen, but when he subverts an election, that’s in his role as chief executive.
It is always nice when you see someone in the news who has not been replaced by a body snatcher. I just hope Judge Merchan can stay awake…
i read the book " Rhubarb " many many years ago. One of the great cat stories of all time
If it’s any consolation, I don’t want to be your friend, you idiotic shitbag.
“and slim, muscular body!”
Spring mix and arugula serve as good ground cover. Around the garden. Also spinach.
Same here. But I have not been able to locate a copy of the complaint to see just how stupid it is or who the stupid dipshit is who filed it.
Has the scent of falafel about it.
Trump always tries to erase the accomplishments of someone/something he doesn’t like. He failed with the ACA and I hope he fails with the legal system. I think he ran his mouth too much and Merchan is not having it.
Murdering your Vice President… official if it is to stifle an electoral process, but unofficial if you intend to eat his brain?
I’ve observed that trump the sociopath has odd ideas about the meaning of “friend” or “love.” In the 1980’s when his teen pageant went to Moscow, he wistfully expressed the hope that Putin would become his “friend.” They did develop a relationship, but it’s more of a boss-underling kind of thing - not what I’d call a friend. People who suck up to him and fellow dictators are his “friends” I guess, until they cross him.
When he says “love” it always seems to be a contrived usage, as if he knows it’s the word he ought to insert - he “loves” the uneducated, the nation “loves” Melania, and his closing statement in the J6 video was about how “we love you.”
I can’t recall him ever stating that he sincerely loves his wife or children, or a close friend. Maybe he’ll point to some sycophant and yell to the crowd, “I love this guy,” but in a joking way. When Tim Scott professed his love for trump, he was instantly distanced. It’s just something I noticed about trump, and confirms his inability to share true friendship or love with anyone.
Also searching - filed in Polk County, IA court is all I’ve found so far.
As memory serves, it was not Binnall, but Crusty, who filed the ridiculous and moribund complaint against CNN, but possibly Crusty’s been in clover since exiting the Merde Aux Lardons docs case.
Some good brandy, too.
This movie seems more prescient - and sadder- every day. ABC and so many others remind me of Howard Beale in this scene.
Quite a smackdown of Convict Donny and a velvet gloved third finger to the corrupt six on SCOTUS from Judge Merchan.
Supremes will probably, eventually reverse but history, if we still have true history, will put Merchan in the Pantheon.
Hope whatever judge has his suit against a free press in Iowa, and the judges handling the Capitol Police’s and other civil suits, follow Merchan’s lead.
A very meager meal
Regardless of the “merits” of the suit, you can bet they’ve filed it somewhere with a MAGA judge.
