Judge Rules Giuliani Is Liable For Defaming Georgia Election Workers

A federal judge ruled on Wednesday that former Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani – who has been delaying trial by refusing to turn in discovery — forfeits the defamation lawsuit that was brought against him by two Georgia election workers who alleged he spread conspiracy theories about them.

It’s time for Rudy to get measured for the orange jumpsuit. He’s going to be working on the chain gang a very long time to pay those civil judgements.

This is a big loss. I guarantee Giuliani’s docs will incriminate a bunch of other GOP officials who participated in J6.

That’s why Rudes won’t give it up. Howell should have compelled him. This is the big bad guys getting away, not Rudy finally paying the piper.

Absolutely. She should give him jail time for contempt until he produces the material.

Comeuppance! Coming slowly, but the comeuppance is coming! Moving towards the head of the snake.

I’ll bet he ties one on after getting this news. I hope the workers take every last cent he has or will ever have, which, unfortunately, probably won’t be much.

Rudy will be bankrupt and in jail while Trump is still out on appeal and living in Mar a Lago. Trump won’t lift a finger to help Rudes, and he won’t be the only former lackey and devotee ghosted by Trump. Odds in Vegas say that at some point, while Rudy rots and develops dementia in jail, Trump will try to blame it all on him.

It will be a long and dramatic spectacle, like a battlefield strewn with corpses of the losing army, evincing the truth that everyone and everything Trump touches turns to shit. Will it be enough to break the spell of the cult?

Rudy’s years of profligacy have left him flat broke. He likely has a fat mortgage on the co-op he’s selling, plus with dueling alimonies, he’s likely already deep in the hole.

How is he going to pay even the legal fees of the women he defamed, he doesn’t have any cash at all, and then there will likely be millions in damages!

Prediction: Rudy will die broke and alone in prison…and I’m here for it!

Good.

Now make the fucker cough-up the dough or throw his ass in jail.

I’m not convinced yet, though IANAL. Jack Smith has a ton of phones etc from various players, and he may very well have recovered everything Rudy is trying to hide from this court, which, remember, is not the court where Rudy will have to deal with Smith.

I would like to see Mr. Giuliani dissected into one inch thick steaks so that I can at least approximate his volume in cubic inches.

Howell makes mention of other cases in which Giuliani has a stake, one being the Fani Willis case in Atlanta, but Howell is being careful to limit her judgments to the case in hand. Giuliani has not been forthcoming, so he’s liable for further proceedings in this case. That’s the least of his problems.

“The fact that Giuliani is a sophisticated litigant with a self-professed 50 years of experience in litigation — including serving as the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York — only underscores his lackluster preservation efforts.”

In Rudy’s defense, he has been leaking preservatives for a couple of years.

So many people lately who are learning the meaning of “consequences”…who previously thought the word only applied to those other people.
