They just don’t stop, these anti-democrats. This reminds me very much of the Project for the New American Century fever dream circa 2000, envisioning the foreign policy version of this. They’ve made it very clear for a very long time that democracy is only good if it delivers exactly what they and only they want. Otherwise, they’re down with the full fash.
I just hope that things don’t have to get a lot worse before enough people realize this.

Trump is delusional. He thinks he can declassify items and exert executive privilege merely by thinking about it and maybe saying something if asked. So anybody who trusts him can report that he did this and that will suffice.

It would have cost him nothing for him to order his assistant to write a letter to congress saying that he directed Navarro to claim Executive Privilege.
