Judge Issues Restraining Order To ‘Church’ Selling Bleach As COVID-19 Cure | Talking Points Memo

The solution could be pretty simple: A court mandate that the sellers and distributors partake of their sacrament at least as frequently as their top customers. How could the defendants legitimately object to ingesting their own miracle cure?

They likely put the tinge of holiness on this marvelous elixir in order to charge more for it. Praise Jesus. He’s a really good baseball player, too!

I attended a Humanist wedding in Ireland a couple of years ago . Was the most beautiful, and personal ceremony I had ever seen.

The judge should have ordered them to demonstrate how to properly use. Live and in color.

But let’s face it, what’s really most important these folks is that application of bleach will prevent anyone from turning black!

I find the “activator” interesting. 4% hydrochloric acid. That’s gotta taste a little sour.
At much lower levels, chlorine dioxide is the “chlorine” in city water systems. 1% is probably not going to kill anybody, but anti-viral? If it is diluted 100:1 for administration, it is equivalent to tap water in some cities. Fully concentrated HCl is 35%, so the 4% “activator” would be a dilution of about 1:10. Not something to leave in the hands of a typical dummy.

If they have made a medical claim & have ignored cease & desist order … FDA could confiscate all inventory … levy fines … and whoever’s has the “go-to-jail” job … may go to jail …
No sympathy here … none … having dealt with following the path of operating in an FDA compliant manner … it is heart warming when the scammers get slammed & crushed.

Genesis II Church of Health and Healing

It’s possible many, or perhaps even most, religions would denounce the practice of this church. Yet, they tolerate its continued operation. In fact, they insist on it. After all, every family has a black sheep or two.

These churches probably consider themselves to be conservative. They decry liberals, the “other side” that tolerates behavior which happens to be a bit “outside” — the same thing conservatives do.

So why is e pluribus unum seemingly impossible? It was the founding principle of this country.

As an unapologetic atheist, I say to these “church” dip-shits… drink up!

I got a gallon of denatured alcohol at HD. Fill a spray bottle and spray n95 masks to disinfect [at home].
Let them dry and re-use. Good for about 10 re-uses; they do “wear” out. Spray and wash nitrile gloves after use. Don’t know if latex could hold up to this but nitrile seems unaffected. It is 5% methanol, so avoid skin contact.

You know, I think SO and I have been missing the boat. We should found the “Church of the Free Flying House Finches.” The bonus here is tax exempt status. If these fools can do it, so can we.

There are currently at least 6 finches up there battling it out for nesting spots. The wire keeps out the crows who’d like to snack on finch progeny. A pair of orioles has been hanging out on the clothesline policing the situation. Sounds like a church to me. If the “Genesis II Church of Health and Healing” and the Scientologists can make this work, I think our finches will fly with the IRS, no?

I looked at the website. They have a “Do As I Say” magic voodoo hoodoo potion as well. I understand Trump is asking for a refund on that product, but some of the others have been quite successful for him.

I may never live to see it, but I long for the day we return to sanity–when religions that run businesses or meddle in politics are heavily taxed, woo peddlers are imprisoned (or executed), our media is reqired to meet some standard of truthfulness and our institutions of learning are taken out of the hands of proselytizers.

HCl = muriatic acid
You know, the stuff you use to etch concrete and clean mortar splashes off brickwork.
I’m sure it’s very effective at etching tooth enamel.

At this point I’d say that these fools are badly wanted in the fundamentalist Heaven. Let them douse themselves with their holy elixir and go enjoy their eternal bliss.

Caution about using denatured alcohol. It’s denatured with methanol, a potent poison. Not something you want to breath ever.
