Judge In Georgia Special Grand Jury Case Weighs In On Foreperson Media Tour

Way back when I was still working I was on a civil jury for about three days. Afterwards I figured I should hand the check to accounting because I was getting paid as working. Accounting told me to keep it because the pittance wasn’t worth the trouble.

First Amendment.

Terrible idea. The idea of the jury system is that you get 12 fresh-faced, ordinary people to decide the facts of the case. Making “juror” a profession ensures that your case will instead be decided by a cynical group of people who have heard it all before.

“This grand jury’s sole role was to prepare a report that was merely a set of recommendations for the district attorney — full stop. Nothing more,” McBurney told ABC News.

I haven’t seen or heard what details Kohrs mentioned but I read this as the judge saying, “Chill out everyone. She’s cool.”

I’m a believer that she walked up to the line but didn’t step over it. Although goofy, she’s probably highly intelligent. All that said, she should hush up.

As in the paid juries of the Athenian city-state. Can’t remember if it’s The Birds or The Wasps, but Aristophanes wrote a biting comedy about the juror system.

How so? The report is already completed and turned in. Jurors talking to the press after their service is completed isn’t particularly strange. You see it on Dateline every other week. In no way has she jeopardized the case that the next grand jury will be handed. Have they even been seated yet? She said nothing about specific people nor who was going to be charged. The fact that Trump’s lawyers made hay of it is irrelevant. These are the same people making hay of DA Willis’ race and calling her a racist. It’s what they do.

This is turning into the longest mob mini series of all time. Just indict the guy already.

Too bad the judge doesn’t have your crack legal mind - what does he know, anyway?

I was hesitant to make any remarks about her … until I watched some clips of this complete dingbat. Shaking Giuliani’s hand was “the coolest moment” for her, she fangirled. She was hoping that Trump would be subpoenaed so she could swear him in and have 60 seconds with him. And her coy, completely unserious, and ridiculous behavior is right in line with how shit has been going down in this country. If this weirdo costs us the indictments, well, we are pretty much back to square one, aren’t we.

Why would anybody do that? It’s a natural disaster in a foreign country. How does this score any points of any value anywhere anytime?

I guess because the victims are Muslims? Reason enough for true Christian assholes to turn their back on them.

Trump lawyers seized on the blowbackover the weekend, claiming that the investigation “has been compromised” by Kohrs’ interviews and arguing that “if any indictments were to come down, those are faulty indictments.”

WTF is a “faulty indictment”? Is that like faulty towers?
