Guess that boy ain’t from the south, he talks as fast as Jim Jordan and makes about as much sense
That’s my first impression

Oh, the judge, does the lack of evidence fall on the state?

Lack of evidence does not fall on the state. Judge clearly revealing he thinks the defense has bunk.

Yep…setting up the messaging blitz planned for after the hearing and the decision. No doubt Julie Kelly, Mollie Hemingway, Markkk Levin, and Escape Mental Patient Lawyer LARPer Tom Fitton already have their scripts.

The judge should disregard because Mr Merchant receives a benefit from Mrs Merchant. Big men with tears in their eyes have told me so, so many people are saying.

The point is not to get a ruling that sticks, but to get a ruling. The planned, coordinated messaging blitz would take care of the rest.

Actually it isn’t used all that much anymore It’s also a bit “iffy” when " paid cash" comes up in legal stuff. The mention of it today was to corroborate Willis’s father’s claim that she was taught ( by him ) in early life to use cash as banks were not all that friendly to Blacks at that time.

Judge McAfee notes that the burden to produce evidence is on the defendants making the motion.

Is the argument really that she hired him at a salary less than he was making in private practice so he could buy her posh vacations? How does that even make sense?

I’m not going to tell you [i.e., mention] the law. I’m just going to talk smack about Willis and Wade. I mean I get not lecturing about the law but isn’t it in fact the job of the party arguing a legal point to ground that point in the relevant law?

Yes, it is Sadow.

It’s truly mindboggling if you ask me. I wouldn’t have filed anything she filed without an affidavit from Bradley establishing foundation and personal knowledge etc. Frankly, the fact that she did is highly suggestive to me that she did it on purpose and knowingly. This is the type of shit that once you get it, you stop digging lest you ruin your ability to use it for the main goal of just getting it out in front of the public for the smear effect and to create the circus we’ve witnessed.

Wade and Willis both sitting listening to Sadow. Makes me wonder if they are going to speak.

Anthony M Kreiss is not impressed with the summations so far.

I have not been shy to praise defense attorneys when they have been effective advocates but these summations so far are not great.

The church speech is something that could get her DQ’d. The judge is listening to Sadow intently. Height of irony if he DQing for the church speech.

So that they can be together in her office and have sex! I mean she was a busy woman and needed the convenience!!!
Defense actually tried to imply that in the evidentiary hearing, IIRC.

I read a write-up (or it may have been the filing itself) the other day about how this PI submitted a request to AT&Ts “Subpoena Compliance Office” and that a few days later got a secured link to download the data. Which is why I was originally curious as to how he got a subpoena, etc.

Sadow relying a bit too much on Bradley? Bradley was their witness.
