I’m sure the demand will be met with silence. This guy, Wood, thinks he has the tiger by the tail. His face is about to be eaten by that tiger and he’s too damned dumb or way too full of himself to know it.

Yes. I am sure this mouth breather has a legion of demons.

He has until July 22 to explain how did that not violate the rule against broadcasting judicial proceedings.

Gee, how leisurely.

No, see, he didn’t release it, he merely linked to somebody else who released it–a crucial distinction.
In other words, these aren’t the droids we’re looking for.

He must be one of those sovereign attorneys that we keep hearing about — completely exempt from any court’s jurisdiction.

Please tell me this story ends with the lot of them hanging themselves in prison.

If it had been me, I would probably be sitting in a cell writing my explanation!

The system sucks

Make this guy squirm like he’s never squirmed before.

No, you wouldn’t. That’s not how civil litigation works, even in federal court.

Strip Wood of his law license and throw his ass in jail.

Within two hours of the Monday hearing, Wood posted a video on his personal Telegram account of the end of the hearing.

No, Wood did not post the video. He posted a link to a video someone else had posted. The distinction is important: if he had himself caused the hearing video to be out there on the interwebs then he would already be in jail today or be prohibited from accessing the internet.

The judge’s intent was to prohibit members of Monday’s clown show from grievance fundraising off how “we wuz wronged” and “look how they’re treating us”. She (the judge) knows damned well that when 13000 people tune into a zoom hearing some are going to record it, and she can’t realistically stop that. But she can prevent the sanctionclowns from directly using that material. Wood did that, so has now stuck his head in the trap. During the hearing it appeared the judge was willing to let Wood off the hook and now he has blown it.

You have never lived until you have gotten sideways with a Federal judge. I did once while representing a mental health facility that was trying to protect a patient’s privacy. I ended up OK but the felling in the pit of your stomach when you receive a call from the clerk that the judge wants you in his office NOW and if you aren’t in 30 minutes the US Marshall will be knocking on the door is something you never forget.

The difference between God and a Federal Judge is slight indeed.

Wood needs to be packing his tooth brush.

He wrote on Telegram Thursday night, “Anyone notice that the devil is in full attack mode against yours truly and has picked up the pace in the variety and viciousness of his attacks in recent days?”

Is this some kind of porn admission?

He’s going to get this one chance. That’s the entire point of a show cause order. It basically means “Gimme one good reason not to bust your ass.”

I got ordered to show cause one time by an infamously hack federal judge whose name I won’t mention here. I showed some goddamn cause and that motherfucker never even bothered to get around to acknowledging I was fucking well right. Just pretended like his bullshit show cause order never issued in the first damn place.

Which part of rich, white male does the judge not understand?
