Judge Bashes Barr’s Rollout Of Mueller Report As He Orders Private Review Of Its Redactions | Talking Points Memo

A federal judge said Thursday that Attorney General Bill Barr’s “lack of candor” about special counsel Robert Mueller’s findings — in representations of Mueller’s report that “distorted” its conclusions — had prompted the judge to decide to review an unredacted version of the report behind closed doors.

Donnie is having a bigly bad week.

Priceless…

Barr is like rust, apparently. Never sleeps and always up to something nefarious. My apologies to rust in advance.

It remains extraordinary that a full copy of the Mueller report, which touches on the gravest matters of national security, has not been made available even to the judiciary until now–pending appeals.

I see you one fake Biden investigation in the Senate, and I raise you one legitimate Mueller investigation in federal court.

U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton is, oddly enough, a Dubya appointee.

$10 says Barr and DOJ just ignore the order.

Yes, yes and a resounding hell yes…sorry for the over-the-top response to this news. Hopefully, a judicial review will be completed before the election and its results will be reliable enough to get Mr. Barr back in front of congress to explain. I’d thought the gnome had gotten away with this one. Thank you Buzzfeed and the Electronic Privacy Information Center.

I am wondering the same thing. Does Barr and DOJ think they are above the law and ignore the judge’s order?

Isn’t “lack of candor” the ‘serious’ charge they hung on Andrew McCabe to justify denying him his pension and benefits?

And now a federal judge has slapped that label on Barr.

He was appointed by George W. This could get interesting.

They are “above the law” in the sense that they will break it at will.

The Court of Public Opinion may be the only thing we have at our disposal. In a sense, the present Biden phenomenon is a manifestation of The Court of Public Opinion.

Barr’s been outed by a federal judge. Good.

Judge Walton signaled he would do this 7 months ago, here’s the Politico article. Wonder what took so long!

I assume the Justice Dept will now appeal the judge’s order to SCOTUS which will rule on it sometime in 2021…

When dealing with Barr, DOJ, and Donnie, the ruble is the only accepted coin of the realm.

Does Barr and DOJ think they are above the law…

Barr will do anything and everything necessary to keep the Mueller Report bottled up until at least Nov 3, 2020. Nobody will get to see the unredacted report. Period.
