Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) isn’t exactly willing to endorse President Trump’s claim that House Democrats could release altered transcripts from their impeachment depositions.

Hmmm. Are we seeing Jordan distance himself from Trump just a wee bit?

ETA, the whistle blower is old news. We have Trump’s own words and a bunch of witnesses who’ve verified what happened on the phone call.

see how they react to me asking them questions

Unrestrained laughter is the reaction that comes to mind.

Jordan told CNN that he agrees with Trump’s claim that written testimony from the whistleblower wouldn’t suffice…

"Part of determining someone’s motivation, credibility, potential bias is being able to see them, look them in the eye, see how they react to me asking them questions…”

…said no Republican ever of Trump giving only written testimony in Mueller’s criminal investigation.

I’ll bet you anything that if the whistleblower appeared in front of Jordan wearing a mask and voice electronically distorted, it still wouldn’t be enough for him.

Gym Jordan wants to know the WB’s identity in service to the Criminal Orange Impeachiness so he/Thugs-R-Us can intimidate, threaten, discredit or retaliate…that’s UNLAWFUL and ABUSE of POWER!

Jim Jordan, Jim Jordan, you have no complaints.
You are what you are, and you ain’t what you ain’t.
So listen up, buster, and listen up good:
Stop wishing away impeachment and knocking on wood…

Jordan argued that because the whistleblower complaint led to the impeachment inquiry, the public should hear from the whistleblower themselves.

Jordan went on to say that because the whistleblower complaint was based on Trump’s statements and actions the public should hear from Trump himself, live, in person and under oath.

“Part of determining someone’s motivation, credibility, potential bias is being able to see them, look them in the eye, see how they react to me asking them questions,” Jordan told CNN.

Unfortunately for Jordan and his fellow Trump idolators, the motivation, credibility, or potential bias of the whistleblower is not relevant when the allegations are supported by independent testimony and evidence.

When you have more than half a dozen first hand witnesses attesting to the same information provided in the report the whistleblower is superfluous. They just want someone to demonize and ostracize to divert the knuckle draggers’ attention.

OT sort of: Ok, so if there were anything positive wrt Trump Meadows and others would’ve leaked it already… None of this is good for Trump.

Uffda. It’s back to the talking points drawing board when even Jim Jordan won’t back your clownish defense.

Most likely with revulsion and disgust.

The FDA today announced a whistleblower reported to the FDA IG that inspectors were allowing salmonella tainted chicken to be sold in grocery stores. As of today 129 people nationwide have died, and another 11,234 have been sickened, by salmonella tainted chicken sold in several grocery chains.
House Representative Jim Jordan insists on publicly questioning the whistleblower, to ascertain his motivations, and whether or not what he says is true.

So Meadows confirms that damning transcripts exist and are not “fake news” manufactured by Pelosi and Schiff. Bummer.

As I live and breathe, a Trump claim so wild even Jim Jordan says “Uh, no” when asked to endorse it. Like Wile E. Coyote sending a pair of rocket skates back to Acme because he’s having second thoughts about how safe they are. I’m going to ignore all the other blather and just savor that.

Oh, and Jim? Fuck you about the whistleblower. The whole point of whistleblower law is to protect the blower of the whistle from retaliation. The anonymity is key to that. As even a lummox like you knows.

Not at all. He is a loyal member of the 432nd Trump Uber Alles brigade.

They are both all-in on the notion that any investigation that comes from “a poisoned well” is itself illegitimate. It’s ridiculous in that the whistleblower is not involved int he creation of any facts, but only alerted authorities to the existence of facts. Facts we mostly now know. Corroborated by direct witnesses. Impeachable facts.

Someone should just tell him the whistleblower is Peter Strzok and let his mind explode.

All whistleblowing should be illegal and whatever they report should be ignored unless they come forward publicly!
