Johnson: Barr, FBI Haven’t Said How They Plan To Combat Domestic Terrorism

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said on Wednesday that neither Attorney General Bill Barr nor FBI Director Chris Wray have responded to his Senate committee’s questions asking how they plan to combat domestic terrorism.

Sen. Ron Johnson is the dimmest of dim bulbs, on par with Rep. Kevin McCarthy.

That is true, but this does seem like an uncharacteristic act of good governance. Too early to tell whether it’s made in good faith (on Johnson’s part, anyway), but it’s a legitimate question from the committee.

Those of us old enough to have a first-hand memory of J. Edgar Hoover and, possibly (you never know for sure), encounters with the bureau’s COINTELPRO agents and domestic spies, are not quite as enthusiastic about the idea of reviving this type of activity, even for the noble purpose of sniffing out white nationalist terrorists.

Ron Johnson is a Trump goon. Occasionally plays a centrist on TV.

Let me get this straight…

  • Barr worships Trump
  • Barr is protecting Trump
  • Barr wants Trump re-elected, for reasons germane to both Trump and Barr
  • Trump is a One Trick Pony w/r/t White Nationalism. That’s all he and his Base have.

In what universe does Barr do anything on this?

Not too early. Johnson is never acting in good faith.

I am ever hopeful that Barr and his other consiglieri will go after the real source of domestic terrorism: milkshake-throwers, and the murderers in Antifa.

And sidewalk cigarette sellers. And large black men who are “no angels.” And black men reaching for their wallets after being told to do so by police. And Lie-berals. And so on …

Magicians always have a voluptuous assistance to distract us while they perform their “magic.” From what is Johnson trying to distract us? There is no way in hell this dolt wants to actually do his job, especially if it requires Barr to do his, too.

Their silence speaks VOLUMES.

However, without a specific Federal Statue defining “Domestic Terrorism” and detailing the steps that may be taken against it (similar to the definition of “Foreign Terrorism”) there is little the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT can do about it.

The Terrorist Oklahoma City Bomber was not charged with any kind of Domestic Terrorist Activity, he was charged with 1st Degree Murder and weapons charges because under Federal Law DOMESTIC TERRORISM DOES NOT EXIST!

In a nutshell, here’s how disBarr will combat domestic terrorism.

  1. Commission a report.

  2. Summarize the report in two sentences: “The study group found no instances of domestic terrorism in the United States, just many fine people, on both sides. Also, no obstruction and no collusion.”

According to Johnson, the committee only got a response from DHS, not Barr or Wray.

So the plan is to put these white nationalists in cages?

“Except for those evil people what give my client and master, the greatest American Emperor EVAH!, a hard time. Like Demon-rats, Lie-berals, and black and brown people. And Letitia James. And anyone who’s investigating Trump Organization criminality.”

I have highlighted why the answer to that is “NO!!!”

Barr can’t combat domestic terrorists, because (1) the terrorism is coming from inside the White House, and (2) he’s got his hands full defending the Terrorist-in-Chief from the entire American justice system.

Unpossible! However, when it was the Black House, when the Kenyan Mooslim Usurper lived there, I agree that was the case. But now that the House is White again …

The administration’s oft stated position is there is no such thing as a legitimate question from congress.

As soon as I get back US I am calling my Congressional reps to all for some dear of this legislation, if it is not already in committee. Thanks for the idea.

Will suggest, “The McVeigh Act” if they are taking suggestions. If I see McVeigh referred to as “American militant” or “domestic terrorist” ( both made up terms) one more time…

MASS MURDERER is what should be next to his name every time.

White Supremacists.

They like “white nationalist” as a cover for what they really are.
Don’t use their framing.
