John Kelly Praises Alexander Vindman For Refusing To Follow Trump’s ‘Illegal Order’

Luckily John Kelly spoke up just in time not to help at all. America thanks you for standing up right after it needed you to!

Trump: I didn’t give an illegal order, and even if I did there would be nothing wrong with that. John Kelly is a vicious person and a disgraceful person. He begged me to be chief of staff, just so you know. I kept telling him No John, you’re doing a great job at Homeland Security, but he wouldn’t listen. So what happened when he signed on? Charlottesville. John Kelly was a disaster, but that’s okay, he can write his book now. I’m sure it will do well.

So before Kelly could leave, Trump asked the retired four-star general the question that often consumes him when a top aide leaves his side on bad terms: Did he plan to write a tell-all book about his time in the White House?

Kelly assured Trump in one of their final Oval Office meetings that while he did plan to eventually write about his tumultuous tenure in the White House for history’s sake, he wouldn’t publish a book until after Trump was gone, two sources briefed on the conversation said. But the former general’s guarantee came in terms more reminiscent of a military ceasefire than an employee separation agreement: Kelly told Trump he would hold his fire as long as Trump didn’t attack him first.

Mr. Kelly is a little late to this. I’ll never understand how people like him can reconcile working in and supporting a vicious administration until they get fired or leave it altogether. It is non-sensical to me in the extreme. This idea that you’re on a ‘team’ and can temper the worst impulses of the administration is old, delusional and a moral compromise.

It’s time for more who were a part of this grotesque conspiracy known as the Trump administration to step forward and speak up.

And you call yourself a Marine? You shame the uniform. Brave men died so you that you could show just how much of a coward you are in the face of an orange buffoon?

The call was false donnie?
You demanded we read the transcript. But it’s false?
Ok, release the actual one. If the call is perfect you have nothing to fear but we know you do. And you won’t release it so we can read it.

He’s a lying sack of shit. No one should forget how he slandered Rep. Frederica Wilson, and then refused to apologize when video proved he had lied about her.

Though I know what happens when one assumes, I’m going to go with a guess that Kelly believes that Trump won’t use this or the Bolton receipt.

Maybe the treatment of Vindman (after Gallagher’s pardon) tipped him over the edge. How could it not?

John Kelly has been saying a lot of similar stuff since the Ukraine call.

Trump’s response is coming.

John Kelly: Despicable, unapologetic racist, militaristic and replete with hubris; yet not quite as bad as the others.
