2020 Democratic candidate John Delaney appeared on “Fox and Friends” Wednesday to lick his wounds after getting verbally smacked by 2020 rival Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) during Tuesday night’s debate.
Of course he did. Where else would he go?
Delaney’s claim was false like a Republican talking point as Warren said:
We need to be done with this kind of “Democrat.”
“I don’t understand why people run and promise stuff that never happens,” she told the candidate.
Somebody wanna ask Ainsley where the wall and prescription drug controls are?
Delaney should be careful going on Fox & Friends. He’ll end up being Secretary of State or head of the FBI if Trump is tuned in.
with any luck, he’ll switch parties and run against Trump.
He showed enough willingness to go full dog-whistle last night that he might give Trump a run for his money – better than Weld (who seems to have some standards) will, in any event.
Delaney needs to pack up his tent. He’s a distraction and adds nothing. Bullock runs a somewhat close second. And Ryan, well, no comment.
White Man in Disarray. That should be the headline here. They don’t know what to do to get to what they think is their rightful place in line.
We used to have something in this country called a National Will.
But then the New Right came to power with California’s Prop. 13 in 1978 and ever since the New Right replaced a National Will with a National Won’t.
We’ve seen what happens when the National Won’t lets the infrastructure decay, manufacturing die and the middle class dissolves.
Elizabeth has the backbone to call out wimps like Delaney.
Elizabeth wants to restore a National Will to do great things.
Delaney wants to continue the National Won’t and limp along to national collapse.
Female FOXBot is an idiot, of course. She forgets this big promise, too, re GOP HealthCare policy:
"I am going to take care of everybody. I don’t care if it costs me votes or not. Everybody’s going to be taken care of much better than they’re taken care of now…There was a philosophy in some circles that if you can’t pay for it, you don’t get it. That’s not going to happen with us.”
When somebody watches Fox, listens to Rush and frequents Bretibart’s comments section they will post nonsense like this.
First problem with Delaney, he was doing a reasonably good impression of Tim Conway.
Second problem. He looked like he was about to explode, literally. Needs a blood pressure check.
Third problem is considering the above, sitting at a negotiation table or a game of poker is not his forte.
Foremost problem, while moderation is appreciated in this debate, he kept sounding like a current era Republican.
We need an Ambassabor in Sweden I hear.
Fox News hosts and conservatives have showered the former Maryland congressman with praise.
That’s a great way to fire up the base.
I am sure he found his stand for nothing, do nothing soulmates at Fox and Friends. Make no mistake Delaney is in the race to protect himself and his friends. People like Delaney aren’t centrist. They are pushing the radical agenda that America shouldn’t provide anything for citizens who are worth less than $50,000,000.
Reminiscent of the so-called Democratic Leadership Council—the republican wing of the democratic party that gave us the “end of welfare as we know it” with Ol’ Newt, the Defense of Marriage Act and other classics.
Don’t be fooled.
He’ll probably end up indicted.

This is the fundamental problem with the Democratic Party-
They constantly ask themselves how and what it will take to convince republicans to their ideas of governance; but you will NEVER hear a republican discuss how they worry about convincing progressives to support their crazy, 1% enriching schemes.
We need to stop worrying about people who have no interest in changing their views, and simply do what we think must be done regardless. Fully embracing liberal progressive values, so that their benefit is realized in the doing.
Until then, children will be caged; the sick drained of money and the poor left to neglect.
Generally, I agree – but it’s worth noting that Jimmy Carter was elected in 1976 – and that it was he who first celebrated “deregulation” in DC; refused to accept a single-payer health-care proposal put forward by the Democratic majority in Congress; and so on.
And to some extent Clinton and the “New [DLC] Democrats” followed in the footsteps of Carter, Reagan, and Bush.
