The Kraken kind of broke the seal. The issue is that for every plea deal, Willis has locked up video testimony and corroborated evidence against someone else. This is why RICO works – they all had a part to play and somehow all knew their role which would require someone to have given orders or coordinated…
Giving community service and probation to the first one was smart because the alternative for all these folks now is almost certainly prison. And even if Trump wins in 2024, nothing he can do to get you out of state prison for state crimes.

If Fani Willis pulls this off I’d love to know where her career goes. Similarly, I’d love to know what the next steps are for Leticia James in NY who is bringing a different kind of case, but effectively holding the entire Trump dynasty accountable for crimes in a way that seemed unfathomable just a few years ago.
