But having her in custody allows Barr to put a much more secure and tighter lid on the possibility of her dropping any other information they don’t want out there in the next 4 months.
Yeah, I agree that the “she is dead before the weekend is over” hype is the stuff of really badly written crime fiction. But having her under lock and key, and lawyering up while the slow wheels of justice turn, is a very effective method of silencing her.

That same logic should lead to mass arrest of Epstein’s victims, Bill Clinton, Alan Dershowitz, and Prince Andrew. It is lunacy.

I think she has info on Barr (or at least on his father, who hired Epstein to teach high schoolers math when he hadn’t graduated from college).
Pretty sure she has very embarrassing dirt on many people. She really needs to be guarded well.

I have believed from the beginning and still believe Epstein killed himself. Nobody had a more of a reason to want Epstein dead than Epstein. That said, I’ll don a tinfoil hat with the rest of you if something happens to her.

I suspect they don’t have much (if any) case against the individuals you named. The same is clearly not true for her.
The most likely scenario is that this has nothing to do with Berman’s dismissal, and its just where they were in working through the case/finding her location.

Thought the same thing when I heard the news. The alleged rape of the 14-year old was witnessed by Maxwell, Epstein and the two little girls around at the time, and of course pathetic-donald. If they can off Maxwell – then it’s all over. The ‘Maria’ little girl disappeared and the one alleging the rape who was represented by – was it Lisa Allred Bloom, dismissed the case.
They could also arrange for Maxwell to be exposed to Covid-19 while incarcerated, and they could let nature take its course. Somethings don’t smell right still – about Epstein’s suicide. (Lots of things).
