It hasn’t even been a week since the story of Russia offering bounties for the death of American soldiers in Afghanistan first broke. That initial story suggested that the information had been known since spring, but was unclear about when Donald Trump had been informed or whether Russia had actually followed through in its proxy war against the United States. However, since then the story has grown daily. It’s now clear that the program has been in place for over a year, and that Trump was personally briefed on the threat by John Bolton in March of 2019. If that wasn’t enough, the program was also featured in subsequent daily briefs, including on February 27 when Trump had a tough schedule that included meeting with the actors behind the play FBI Lovebirds .
As more information has developed, the one fairly consistent claim from the White House has been that the information was “unconfirmed” and didn’t rise to the level of taking action. However, it’s obvious that this is untrue. The information was highly regarded enough to form the basis of changes to tactics on the ground in Afghanistan, and it has proven laughably easy to confirm the transfer of money between Russia and Taliban militants. Now more information is available, showing that Russia made these payments on multiple occasions and that a series of raids and arrests were made in chasing down the middlemen of the Russia scheme. And this wasn’t something that happened in the last week—it happened over six months ago.

Interesting coincidence that it’s only been what, a week since Barr fired SDNY’s boss…
Maybe they misled Barr as to just where they were in their progress in the case.
But yeah, either he or Hillary has to send in another cleanup team.

Not that it matters - but I wonder what the “Q Anon” spin on this is. The obvious take would be “She’s beeing forced to make testimony against tRump” It’s a set-up , all fake. Part of the deep state coup.
But for people who still believe there’s a basement in Comet Pizza - I’m going with “AH HAH! Our secret operative is now working her magic powers to expose Hillary’s crimes! NOW we will know the truth about how Obama spied on tRump and had Jeffery killed to hide his secret Muslim birth certificate…”

I haven’t seen any credible evidence that he was killed. Add to that, Epstein had already tried to off himself one time earlier.
It was just an astronomical failure of the incompetence within that jail, and the judge who decided to put him there.
Don’t believe in astronomical failures of that size? Just look who’s in the White House.

That depends on what you mean by reasonable proximity.
There are 67 counties in Florida. I am about 1-1.5 hours away from Pensacola, and about 2.5 hours away from Tallahassee.
And Jacksonville is deceiving. Basically, most (if not all) of Duval County has been annexed to be part of Jacksonville, but you hit the Duval county line and still drive for quite awhile before you see Jacksonville.
Clay county is a small county, a little smaller than Okaloosa, my county. About 160,000 voters. And like most small counties in Florida, its heavily red…like 85,000 republicans vs. 35,000 Dems.

I presume at this point (based on loads of evidence) that the DOJ is a wholly owned subsidiary of the reelection campaign. As such, now that Ms. Maxwell is in DOJ hands, I predict the following: Ms. Maxwell unfortunately will have no memory at all of any wrongdoing by DT or his associates or, for that matter, any Republicans. But she will remember some very bad things about Democrats. Dramatic pre-election indictments will drop against some of the latter in September or October, probably separated by a week or two, for news-cycle-maximization purposes, from the John Durham indictments against McCabe, Comey, Strzok, Page, et al.

If they didn’t have documentation/evidence, I seriously doubt the SDNY would pull the trigger on her arrest at this time.
Yes, they might be feeling some pressure to get cases in front of a judge before Trump appoints a replacement for Berman, but I doubt they are just tossing down arrest warrants willy nilly, either.

Conspiracy theories are tempting. The reality is probably something boring, like the Feds knew where she was, and it took a while to find evidence and build a solid enough case to take to court.
The TPM article doesn’t mention the charges, but the NYT says it’s “an indictment of recruiting and grooming “multiple” girls, including one as young as 14” and also a perjury charge. So it sounds like she was interviewed at some point, which could have been during this period.

I can’t disagree with your points, it just all seems a little bit too “convenient” of an astronomical failure, if you know what I mean. Seems to always occur when a dictator is in any way threatened.
