A federal judge in Atlanta has shot down former Trump DOJ official Jeff Clark’s attempt to remove his RICO prosecution to federal court in a Friday ruling.
Ahahahahaha…as if any of this crap was anyone’s duties. This is why TFG decided against filing to remove. He will come up with some other reasons to delay.
Poor Jeffie Is it wrong that I’m smiling? Put the dude in prison. Lock him up. Lock him up. And lock up his master, the racist rapist scum Trump. Lock them up! Lock them up! What low life filth they all are. Lock them up!
A fun how-long-is-a-piece-of-string question for a Friday afternoon. Is seizing power entirely outside of the laws and strictures that underpin our system of government “politics” per se, or is it just a crime?
'cause I like the latter argument. Your Honor, the Hatch Act only forbids legitimate political activity while on the taxpayer’s dime! It doesn’t say anything about shooting a taxpayer while on the clock!
It is pretty appalling that we have to cheer on a state corruption prosecution because our federal Supreme Court has been corrupted by the GOP and could be completely nullified by a GOP President, if one is elected.
We expect this loser to lose everything else…not just his hair, iphone, and pants.
He bet the farm on Trump, and now the chickens are coming home to roost.
We cackle loudly.
Jeffrey, you’re 56 years old. I’ll bet you didn’t plan on sacrificing your career, freedom, and integrity for that orange POS? Choose your course of action wisely. #ETTD.
Reading this ruling confirms that Clark is a complete idiot and that his contention that monitoring state election procedures was within the purview of his duties at the DOJ is patently absurd. If a person this stupid can rise so high at the DOJ, I need to get a resume together and apply for a job there. I’m a lot less stupid than Clark, and I hear they pay pretty well.
I’m pretty sure he had family, and I’m pretty sure at least some of them found some relief that Tupac’s killer is in lock-up. I know several people who have a loved on who has never been found – just missing, one MIA. After as many years. Can we imagine how they sleep at night? How many of us care?
I really rely on and enjoy the reporting at TPM on the developments in these proceedings. One edit that I think is needed in this article though is that where this article says “The federal judge found that none the actions which led to his indictment on the charges could not have been part of his duties at the Justice Department.”, the word “none” should be removed from the beginning of the sentence or the word “not” should be removed from the end of the sentence. Otherwise, there’s a double negative that I think isn’t intended and contradicts what the judge decided.
