I’m content to just sit back and observe.

I have no idea who Arthur, Andy, and Ross are, but I can’t wait to see them squirm

I wonder if Merrick Garland knows how to spell R.I.C.O.?

Okay, I’m digging that we’re getting names we never heard of…the weasels who work in the shadows.

From the article:

[“In both cases, the committee asked about communications that the men had with organizers of the rally as well as with speakers, which included Trump, Trump Jr., Rudy Giuliani, Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL), and others.”]

People resist questions. Because questions call for answers. For example, I have seen ESL students in conversations with teachers listening to sentences spoken to them in English with contented (and knowledgeable) expressions on their faces (including accompanying nods of understanding)…until a question is asked

In these Trump minions’ cases, answering questions incorrectly carry more consequences than the smiling assistance of the ESL teacher.

Yeah–these folks should have knowledge of how this stuff was financed. Or name some people who know that.

The committee says that, based on its own investigation, it has reason to believe that Schwartz and Surabian communicated with each other, Trump Jr., Katrina Pierson, Kimberley Guilfoyle, and rally financier Julie Fancelli before Jan. 6.

Julie Fancelli is heiress to the Publix supermarket fortune and a rabid Trump supporter. So glad she’s in the crosshairs.

Also interesting that Alex Jones and Mo Brooks keep coming up.

Bring me the head of Don Jr.

Great. Then you’ll have no problems complying with the subpoena. Psst…you do know it’s under oath?

Appearance fees? Maybe they had to pay the family members just on basic principle, but I’m pretty sure the rest of those bozos work for free.

OK for now, but we’re all going to need to be a lot more active, and soon … even in Doo-Dah. My brother is a long-time resident. When I visited him in 2017, I enjoyed watching ads for the special election for (what I think) was Pompeo’s seat. I was surprised that the special election was even close.

Then testifying will be a breeze!!

If his speech was written by someone who was NOT a government employee that’s one step closer to saying the speech was a campaign rally and NOT part of his job as president (which was his attorney’s reasoning yesterday for why he can’t be held responsible for what he said and did on Jan 6). If one of his PACs or his campaign paid for any parts of the rally - one step closer…

Wake me when they subpoena Donald J. Trump.

Pretty sure Worthington isn’t the Select Committee’s target here. As the guy who wrote Trump’s speech, they’re closing in on the Donald.

How much closer can you get than his idiot son and his speechwriter for the 1/6 speech? I wonder what the conversations are like at Mar-a-Lago between the two right now.

Worthington was on the Domestic Policy Council, so he was a government employee. That just means the speech was yet another Hatch Act violation.

OT: And here I thought Rodman going to North Korea was a bad joke.
