The Jan. 6 Committee is reportedly set to hold more public hearings in the new year as it works to deliver an interim report on the events surrounding the deadly Capitol insurrection by summer, according to the Washington Post.
Good. Glad to hear it.
But let’s be absolutely sure that there isn’t one questionable period or comma in that set of presentations. Let’s not forget the kerfluffle that took place when Schiff moved something in Jordan’s text message that Gym insisted was ‘tampering’.
Of course, it had nothing to do with anything, but just keep everything clean, above aboard and untampered with at any level.
In other words, don’t give the opposition any chance at dismissing the information presented because… reasons. Facts of the case. Nothing more.

I’d be happier with fewer concepts of ‘dramatic’ presentations. The story doesn’t need any embellishment. We all saw it. We’re seeing the receipts. We’re seeing the text messages. We’re seeing the footage.

The newly released footage is dramatic emough.
I just don’t want to see presentation overtake content. The content is the important thing here and it cannot, cannot, cannot be screwed up in any way, shape or form.
The committee has enough of a haul with trying to break through all the noise of ‘delegitimization’ of the committee’s work. The last thing they need is something that is off, but critical to the case, by any degree, no matter how infinitesimal it might be. Give the GQP nothing to seize on but their own butts.

That’s not gonna happen. It does not matter how the information is presented or how perfectly it’s laid out, the opposition will simply lie and say this or that isn’t true. Or that something-something was distorted, manipulated, or misrepresented to make them look bad. That’s just what they do. We can never expect the opposition to just accept the truth. That’s why it’s more important that Dems are prepared to respond forcefully when they do lie about their findings. The Dems are more than capable of going on offense and playing attack dog. They just need to do it and never let up.
Looks like the PGA paid Trump off, everyone has to say nice things about each other.
