Jan. 6 Panel Pauses Request For Some Trump WH Docs

The House Jan. 6 select committee has delayed its request to President Joe Biden’s team for about 50 pages worth of Trump-era White House documents that the National Archivist has already approved for the panel to obtain.

Getting that Groundhog Day Feeling

THAT statement, alone, should have a particular former President and his former staff, as well as a bunch of current congress-critters absolutely sitting themselves. That is cold-blooded, and speaks to a certain motivation.

On the other hand, delay is what they want.

And I hope it also means the panel has so much other evidence that more really won’t matter.

But they aren’t really delaying, you see. They’re giving up access to a couple of dozen documents, for the moment, while everything else moves forward. In an analogy, consider: “The toe moulding for the kitchen is on backorder, but we’re continuing with finishing everything else in the house.”

The key to this story is confirmation the communication lines are open with Biden: There will be no blockage to the main engine of the investigation. What DOJ does with it may be another matter but that bridge can be crossed later and there is no use being pessimistic about it.

Support the military, except for service members who are wounded (pussies), get killed (losers) or captured serving their country (cry babies).

It would be helpful if somebody would identify who is the authority saying “Nah, don’t hand over those 50 pages.” Is it Biden or Trump?

Oppressed people (like us) get a righteous anger when it looks like there is hope. The anger is directed outward (to the foe) and is not malicious at all. It’s more like the emotion captured by this statement:

And they said this to ME???

So far, with the Big Lie, the GOP’s domination of the National Narrative and the ever-present references to Donald Trump, we still have not achieved that.

It’s still fashionable to be negative. It conveys fearlessness (especially for males), and it covers oneself when the inevitable MSM Gloomies ply their wares. I once saw a comment saying that the closer Biden gets to passing the two Bills, the worse he does in the polling.

Didn’t TFG sue to withhold those 50 docs? The J6 Committee is saying they don’t want to wait on the litigation playing out. Biden made it clear he wasn’t standing in the way of release of those or any other docs.

I can only “like” this once, but, yes, I agree 115%. You are completely correct.

In defense of those practicing negativity, they are, on some level, just preparing themselves for disappointments they will later claim not to feel. For myself, should we get to witness the destruction of our fragile republic, I will be unfashionably grief stricken, and will be utterly unable to hide that.
