Good lord, I just listened to this and the press doesn’t push back. The crime he is claiming is that the Jan 6 committee destroyed evidenced. He just made it up. The blow back from pardoning the insurrectionists must chapping his hide. He is trying to change the subject.

Pompeo is a pariah with both MAGAs and Dems, he has no power nor credibility. Iranians are not going to waste an operation on him. If Pompeo gets wacked(no huge loss) you can safely assume that it was Trump that did it.
So it is pit one against the other. Coupled with feeling the pressure of someone being too much into the inner chamber.
