Every time one of these folks is compelled to testify, on pain of prosecution and possible fine or imprisonment, that is a real consequence and an assertion of constitutional authority.

This is unlike, say, a wannabe dictator that “hints” that his mob should storm the capitol and overthrow the government that he wants to own like one of his hotels.

The committee should have a Ranger standing guard behind each one of these bastards.

Just to let them know where they are.

A damn good one?

Cuellar is a favorite Democrat among his Texas Republican colleagues, and his moderate voting record has earned the ire of the left. He will face what is expected to be a fierce rematch in his party’s March 1 primary against attorney Jessica Cisneros.

It also raises bizarre reports that Fuentes received more than $250,000 in bitcoin from a French computer programmer. The FBI has reportedly looked into whether that was linked to funding for events on Jan. 6.

This is a string that needs pulling. Where did these mooks get the money for airfare, gas, local rentals, and hotel rooms?

Five bucks says (pure speculation) he was dipping into campaign funds for personal use.

I think the democrats’ margin in the House is down to something like 3.

Want proof that racism is socially constructed? When and where I was growing up, Spaniards, Italians, Greeks, and other Southern Europeans were not considered “White.” So it’s funny that–only around 50 years later–guys named “Fuentes,” “Vallejo,” “Pezzola,” etc. are part of White Nationalist groups.

It’s really not that long ago that they would have been seen as a threat to White people and their culture. (For some White Nationalists, they probably still are.)

Thanks,

Olav

Always he’s opining when any reasonable person knows that he should be recusing himself from the case. Ugh. When are they going to haul him off to jail? He and his wife are a stain upon the integrity of the Court.

Go just a little bit further back, and they were making similar “exceptions” for the Irish.
