The congressional Jan. 6 committee on Tuesday subpoenaed several new witnesses in its probe of the Capitol attack, including a prominent Republican lawyer who advised Donald Trump during his effort to steal a second term, and a One America News Network anchor who worked on the side for Rudy Giuliani.
Assume they will first respond with “we shall consider” then refuse for made up reasons … then try to run in circles to eat up the clock … all with an eye on the clock.
This will potentially be great for historians, but given how late in the game it is, with the November election almost upon us and a mandatory news and Justice Department freeze on “politicization”, it will be too late for the Democrats. I do hope that the JanSix Committee continues right up until the last moment of December 31, however, and releases findings and raw information from November 9 through Dec 31. It’ll be in the public record, regardless of whether the In-the-Can-for-Republicans news media airs or prints any of it.

Thank doG I live on the east side of MO. The southern IL Nazi Republicans are far less worse than the KS Nazi Republicans.
Well over a decade ago I would occasionally flip over to O’Reilly for a few minutes to see what got his goat up. He would have Cleta Mitchell on as a legal analyst to discuss the legal implications of whatever faux outrage they would gin up. Acorn! You always had the impression that she was the legal wing-nut for hire.
Same thing with Phillip Kline during his “Tiller the baby killer” phase.
