Closer and closer to Trump. It’s interesting they are looking into the fundraising for the event, it would not at all be surprising if that money was funneled somewhere it shouldn’t have been. She has no executive privilege case, she’s a girlfriend of his son and not an employee, so her upcoming lawsuit will fall flat.

The question is who they go after next…they are building up to Trump, at this point I expect them to subpoena him for the hearings to testify at the end, and grill him when he doesn’t show up.

Maybe some accounts that, as of this week, have holds on them?

I’ll bet she lies and the committee already knows the truth.

Fiance, now. Or maybe a finance, that article was a bit vague on the details.

From what’s publicly out there, we know there’s very little subtlety or surreptitiousness when it comes to Trump and moneygrubbing. He couldn’t help himself, helping himself to the kitty. He and his minions are basically guaranteed to be skimming off the top of any and all slush funds they set up.

I don’t know how much rallies typically cost, but raising multiple millions for a single rally seems…excessive.

Same trash, but with even more drugs, screaming, and crying.

I read that as “the beast is yet to come”.

I don’t think she’ll make a mistake that basic. She survived years of SF and LA politics, both as an assistant DA, and as the wife of a very quickly rising politician. More likely she joins the parade of pols stalling on a copy-paste of markymeadows’ privilege suit. That suit hasn’t seemed to inch towards any resolution, yet.

When you have to pay in advance for travel, room, board, and ammunition for low 1000s of participants, the costs get up there pretty quick.

She seems so centered and reserved, so I’m sure she will do just fine answering questions.
