As tentative as this policy is, it marks a major advance for Jacksonville’s fight against covid-19. Until now Jacksonville had been proud of its lack of infection and its very open policy. Apparently Jacksonville is beginning to be suffer.
Not gonna happen. The mayor of West Virginia Southtown can read the polls. RNC w/o masks is negligent murder of some of the fine residents of j-Vill, but also political suicide.

They should tell the city’s numerous Trumptards that if they don’t wear their masks now, the city will not be able to host the Dear Leader convention in August. That should be a good enough explanation and motivation for them to wear a mask, regardless of whatever Q says.
If you pay attention to Covid in Florida you see that for much of the pandemic it was largely confined to the southeastern three counties. Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade. The counties north hadn’t been hit very hard. That is what is changing. Tampa, Orlando and now Jacksonville are seeing their cases rise dramatically.
If Covid gets loose in the Villages the death rate will be horrible.
Governors Abbott, Ducey, and DeSantis do not have the common decency or humanity to step up to the microphones and confess that they got the opening up of the respective states WRONG and apologize to their citizens. All this from the party of “personal responsibility.” Shame!
