Kavanaugh is big sad that he got his name put on something and it’s the only thing that people are going to remember him for. Not even the awesome chugs he used to do.

The trumpistas on the Court are utterly shameless, probably incapable of shame.

The Court in 1983 found that Adolph Lyons didn’t have enough of a reason to believe that he’d be put in the same chokehold again, and ruled that he didn’t have standing.

Gotta wonder who the Court in 1983 thought could have standing: someone actually in the process of being choked by a LEO?

Seems like if it either hasn’t happened to you, or if it has happened to you but it’s over, the likelihood of it happening to you sometime in the future is vanishingly small. So someone would have to get their plea to SCOTUS during those few minutes while they were being potentially killed.

Truly bizarre.

I don’t care about the gender composition of the Court.
I care that ALL the members are honorable persons.
With the current court, they fly more red flags than one sees at a celebration of the Bolshevik Revolution.

“Kavanaugh stop”

…otherwise, known as a KKKavanaugh stop

Am I being unfair? Like ICE, isn’t the extra-judicial dragging of people out of their houses or transportation and beating them, possibly killing them — wasn’t that the specialty of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK)?

What on earth are League of Women Voters and ACLU thinking in joining the Bost lawsuit? They’re opening a can of worms that they do not understand.
