Somehow I missed this quote from Jared the first time around, even though I knew he said similar kinds of things. Brutal.

Glad the lawsuit threat is effectively putting this out there again.

How about securely incarcerated with DJr and Kimberly? Four birds, one stone.

This has always been a favorite letter. I keep it right next to the typed phrase “I am not now, nor have ever been the subject of a Fox-8 News Reporter Investigation.”

Thankfully, I have never had to use either of these. Yet.

Meanwhile early voting in NYS started this morning. My polling station in Brooklyn is about 5 city blocks away. The lines stretch to outside my window, everyone with masks and pretty much effectively social distancing.

A highschool marching drum band replete with drum majorettes is obviously doing the neighborhood to wake people up. They’ve gone by twice now. Onward. :blue_heart: :blue_heart: :blue_heart:

It predates his inauguration. If you did not ever see it, there is video of Donald Trump and his family being allowed to cut to the head of the long lines at the NYC polling place where they all voted in November, 2016. They were loudly and roundly jeered, to their visible surprise.

The other evidence is the video of Donald Trump’s totally unhumorous and tone deaf speech at the Al Smith Dinner prior to the 2016 election. It is an event attended by NYC society types. Donald Trump attended many times with his Father, who contributed to both parties in order to be able to call in favors. The attendees are stunned that he delivered such graceless and non humorous comments.

The only people in NYC who like Donald Trump are his sycophants and members of the Rupert Murdoch social circle. New York is a tough city, and if he and any of his offspring appear in public in the future, they will get earfuls. And that was before the botched pandemic response by his administration and all the deaths throughout NY.

Please proceed, Ivanka and Jared. I enjoy that you are bringing even GREATER attention to your arrogance and criminality. Please proceed loudly and clearly!

The republican party, as it stands, is best described, “We do not care.”

However, I suspect their circle of friends and welcoming neighbors has shrunk considerably over 4 years.

We do not want any of them back here again. Ever!

I’ve always thought the Lincoln Project productions were intended for an audience of 1 - bunker baby Donald. Pretty extensive amount of money thrown away, but good training and exposure for new, young documentarians…

Those deaths in NYC haunt the entire nation. When Biden spoke about a possible Dark Winter, that’s what we all think about. When I first saw the refrigeration trucks parked outside those NYC medical centers my heart broke.

It’s almost as bad as thinking about those thousands of toddlers being taken from their mothers’ arms and forced into cages by these conservative NeoNazis. It’s tarnished our national image overseas and our national moral conscience forever.

What have the Republicans allowed themselves to become? That’s what we have to be telling voters in those states where some GOP Senators are vulnerable.

From the Lincoln Project’s statement: “…Times Square, the crossroads of he world…”

I knew the world was fucked up, but I didn’t realize it was quite that bad.

Some truth in that – and the Kushners in particular have pretty much grown up with litigiousness.

As for Kasowitz, he’s clearly a personal-injury lawyer. Republicans will criticize him roundly for it, I’m sure.

Under normal circumstances, yes. But in the current epidemiological climate, I doubt that Times Square, let alone NYC, is high on anyone’s non-essential travel list. As for how many people will see it, that’s what 24/7 TV news and Marc Kasowitz are for.

I agree that it’s not a waste of money though. Kick the bastards while they’re down. If they aren’t already down, knock them down and then kick them.
