The lesson to be very careful who you elect continues to be idiotically neglected. …Especially when rich and powerful people work together to get idiots like this elected on the basis of some particular benefit they’ll derive. Surely the expensive educations most of them receive should give them the idea that, especially in this interconnected world, top leaders must be chosen with their potential to create or exacerbate big picture problems as the top criterion. But nope. So many of the rich helped pick Donny as the prez, all the while knowing exactly who and what – and therefore how dangerous – he was.

Greenland on Thursday handed a 30-year permit to a European Union-backed project that aims to mine molybdenum, a critical metal used in aerospace, energy and defence and on which China has imposed export controls.
The resource-rich Arctic island has seen rising activity in its mining sector over the past month, after U.S. President Donald Trump expressed an interest in purchasing it earlier this year.
The permit was granted to Toronto-based Greenland Resources
MOLY-NE +6.59%increase, a company backed by the European Raw Material Alliance, and holds the licence to the Malmbjerg project in eastern Greenland, the country’s government said in a statement.

The Israeli military said on Thursday that Iran used a missile with multiple warheads in its attack, posing a new challenge to its defenses, the Associated Press (AP) reports.
Instead of having to track one warhead, missiles with multiple warheads can pose a more difficult challenge for air defense systems, like Israel’s Iron Dome.
