It's Clearer Than Ever That Jan. 6 Wasn't The End But The Beginning

“the way out of this wilderness remains alarmingly unclear.”

Not to me. This is headed exactly where I’ve said and nobody has wanted to admit. They’re not going to leave any other avenues for resolution. Escalation will become a competitive race and we’ll see shit like the OK City bombing, but on a children’s hospital for providing trans care or on major power infrastructure to shut down swaths of major blue cities. Other people will finally get it in their heads that class war needs to be waged via violence and more oligarchs will get Luigi’d. And the spiral will continue. It may not even provide the “way out” because the fascists might win.

Story heard this morning from someone I know at one remove.
They were returning to the US after a couple of weeks out of the country. Name on a list, pulled aside. Asked questions about the Civil War and own state’s participation. Also asked about state’s geography.
POC, needless to say.
What the actual fuck?

“I may do it, I may not do it. I mean, nobody knows what I’m going to do.”–Donald Trump,

Translation: I don’t know what I’m gonna do until someone comes to me and whispers in my ear what I want to hear.

Senator Gore’s son went to Vietnam. Admiral McCain’s son was a POW for years. The CIA Director’s son was sent to the Texas Air National Guard, where he didn’t show up half the time.

If it makes any sense to investigate the past cognitive abilities of a former President, no longer in power, it makes even more sense to investigate the existing cognitive abilities of a sitting President who has demonstrated impairment. Call me crazy, call me foolish! Madness!

Navigating Iran crisis, Trump relies on experience over star power🙄

Apart from the fact that there’s no way in this universe that anything will peel off enough Senate Republicans to convict and remove, even if you did you get JD Vance who’s smarter and will doggedly pursue Project 2025 and the Yarvin ethos but with less inane tweets.

Well, even Trump thinks Hegseth is an idiot and Gabbard…well she has that problem of being female.

Link starting shortly before explosion. Spectacularly disastrous

It also took out the primary launch site and maybe more. The guys doing this video were broadcasting live. They will do a follow up broadcast later - they have their own cameras and someone was stationed closer to the site, outside, when this went lit. I don’t expect SpaceX to release anything short of “We’re looking into it.” going forward. These guys will do a frame by frame view of every camera angle.

What’s particularly interesting, it appears SpaceX rushed this launch. They did a broadcast two days ago saying it might have been “the fastest turnaround ever”.

Trying to distract from everything else? Probably not intended.

On my bucket list was riding Amtrak’s Coast Starlight to Seattle then taking their shuttle train to Vancouver so I could ride VIA RAIL’s Canadian from Vancouver to Toronto.

But friends who were going to do that a month before me had problems at the border when CBP demanded they their phones and laptops for examination. And then they were asked about any anti-Trump comments they may have posted. They refused to comply and CBP threatened them.

So I cancelled what was on my bucket list…

I can’t get past the bullshit. Sorry. Don’t know any of those writers either. WaPo should go bust with articles like that or at least be made to take a big hit of some sort. Such nonsense. tRump is winging it and not very well from all appearances and incoherent blather. Insane rantings. WaPo must think he’s got some real chess moves in the works. He’s not even playing Tiddlywinks. Cards thrown into a hat after a long day and night’s drinking is more like it.
