So the former guy is, once again, basically taking the Fifth? Not detailing or releasing the itemized list of “NOT GOVERNMENT PROPERTY!! NOT!!!*” that the FBI took? Nor the warrant?

“There was nothing here, and if there was something here, they planted it.” Sounds to me like a guy in trouble. And then, “Yes, it’s true that I know exactly what they were looking for, and also exactly what they took, but I’m not going to tell you.” Actually he didn’t say the second part, but we all know it’s true. Sounds like a guy in very major trouble.

This is not hard … there is no way that Trump wants to release the warrant - and definitely not the specifics … because … when the list of things that are being sought gets spelled out the world will collectively scream
“You took WHAT?” “ARE YOU INSANE?” “YOU CAN’T TAKE THAT”
Plus Trump does not want to get into specifics about what was on the list to be retrieved … because that then begs the question … what was actually then provided … and regarding the stuff that wasn’t there to be provided …was it destroyed? …

Then, he’d be stuck with trying to find some other trope to plead his case to public opinion.

Yeah, and that needs to be Dems response to any questions. “The DOJ is not supposed to comment on ongoing investigations, but Trump has a copy of the search warrant. He’s also got a copy of the itemized list of the things the FBI seized. If he’s innocent, why won’t he release a copy of the warrant or the list of the items seized? What’s he hiding?” needs to be repeated over and over again.
