The heavily conservative Iowa Supreme Court preserved Democratic candidate Abby Finkenauer’s campaign Friday, allowing three disputed signatures to count towards her qualification to make the primary ballot.
My hope is through this she got enough name recognition and adequate inertia to her campaign and of the right voters to go all the way. A pipe dream for sure but hope none the less.
Concur, good campaign managers need to prepare for and preempt the inevitable Republican dirty tricks. Not getting well-over the signature limit is pretty basic mistake for any campaign.
“The two other Democrats competing for the nomination are Navy veteran Mike Franken and physician Glenn Hurst.”
OK, now that we know all this, what are all these people about and do any of them stand any sort of chance running against Grassley? Actually, is Grassley running again? Who’s in the Republican primary against Grassley, if anyone, and what are their chances?
