Tom Hanks portrayed Texas Rep Charlie Wilson in the movie Charlie Wilson’s War.
A romantic version of Wilson’s unofficial but very-public escapades about the Wild, Wild Central (Asia)

No one can convince me that Pence, McConnell, Graham, and all the rest of those GOP traitors didn’t know about this shit, too.

They don’t deserve to end up in the dustbin of history. They deserve to be roasted on the bonfire of history.

The GOP impeached Clinton for lying about a blowjob. The entire administration is now parsing the meaning of “knew.” He didn’t care. His allegiance is not with the USA.

Follow the money! The Trump Organization, unable to secure financing in the U.S. due to being a bad risk, is bankrolled by Deutsche Bank, with those loans allegedly guaranteed and/or influenced by Russian oligarchs, allied with Putin. In 2017 Deutsche Bank was fined $425M for laundering Russian money. The conclusions to be drawn are self-evident.

Someone is very optimistic today.

Where’s Trey Gowdy? I raise your 11 Benghazi hearings to 55 Russia bounty hearings.

Phillip Seymour Huffman was wonderful in that movie.

Hey Bolton nice you to wait a year to blow the whistle.

Had this been publicized last year, would Moscow Mitch and the GOP Senate have voted to convict?

MM, what did you know and when did you know it?

Donnie, when are you going to stand up to Putin on this? It’s your only chance for political survival.

We all pretty much knew that underneath the daily crap fest news diversions, something truly evil was going on in this administration. Taking bribes from Putin to allow Putin to reward killing of American troops falls well within Fat Donnie’s expected behavior. I can hardly wait to find out what else he has done to make a buck at the expense of the national welfare.

“He can disown everything if nobody ever told him about it,” Bolton said.

This is absolutely pathetic. Trump’s abysmal ignorance is no excuse. At best it’s willful refusal to deal with facts contrary to his preconceived ideas, aided and abetted by a sycophantic staff that didn’t want to make the boss “mad.”

I have no doubt that he was informed in writing, and just blew it off. He knew better.

We have got to get this sonofabitch out of office. He’s a fucking lunatic and a goddamned menace to all Americans.

And those are his strong points.

The nails in tRump’s coffin are coming faster and faster.

Every ( R ) Senator up for reelection this year needs to be grilled on why they didn’t get rid of the f*cker when they knew what a horrible shit he is. Skewer them for his COVID response which is now likely to result in a death toll approaching 1 million.

Then skewer them for supporting a treasonous skank, whose treason was evident all along. The lot of them deserve to be hounded from office and investigated to determine whether there was criminal complicity. (I’m looking at you, Moscow Mitch, and you Lady G.)

Yes, but one could say the same thing about Erdoğan, Kim, Xi, MbS, and any number of others. It’s all a by-product of Trump’s “What’s in it for me?” foreign policy.

Probably more Republicans would have voted to convict, but likely not enough to remove.

The fate of the GOP is tied to the fate of Trump and they know it. Trying to jump ship now would just mean they sink sooner.
