Well, duh!

If they’re surprised by this, they probably don’t belong in the ‘intel’ community as they obviously have no intelligence.

The Intel Community wants a DNI who is strong and able to speak truth to power. Trump doesn’t want anybody working for him who isn’t a “yes” man. The Intel Community can pound sand.

America is in grave danger.

Maybe the most momentously disastrous move this Traitor has made to date.

And it has to be looked at by the American people accordingly. Republicans are subject to being in danger from bad intel decisions too:

  • No matter how white
  • No matter how rich
  • No matter how much hate

Who better than the intelligence community to recognize treasonous activities?

Let the leaks and whistle-blowing commence. Post haste.

Wow. Can’t imagine! That would sure be unseemly. These people maybe intercepted messages indicating this move, though, so maybe they know more than we do about President Trump!

I have to believe in ‘the deep state’ here.

And not in the context that right winger’s use it.

I’m hoping for dedicated, life-long patriots inside the agencies, who will put the nation ahead of their jobs.

Wow, these intel dudes are really quick on the take, aren’t they? Folks, they’re not coming to protect or defend us. You want to protect this country from Trump? Impeach the Motherf***er.

So far, that hope hasn’t been very well founded, though, has it?

If they do not, or if the GOP Senate does not, 70+ years of Intel work and the lives of people at risk are in greater danger.

Ratcliffe is aptly named.

No Shit Sherlock!

Trump? Politicize a Dept. of the United States Government to help him get re-elected? Nah.
Not the Great Cheatolini;

" What a piece of work is Trump, How noble in reason, how infinite in faculty, In form and moving how express and admirable, In action how like an Angel, In apprehension how like a god, The beauty of the world, The paragon of animals ." /s

I’m hoping you’re wrong, in fear that you’re right.
My ‘screenwriter’s brain’ - is spinning a great plot though. It’s the mid-level guys/gals we’re rooting for. They know where the bodies are buried, where the tapes are hidden. And they can’t let the ‘new hires’ /political appointees know they know.

So - right about now - they’re looking for their conduit.

NSA - if you’re listening - might I suggest a guy named “Josh Marshall” ?

If this thread does not accumulate at least 60 posts an hour, there are some out-of-touch folks up in here.

This is serious. Some political appointees have career people who can buffer the damage. This position is not that.

Oh c’mon…of COURSE, Donnie is trying to politicize it. He wants just as many ‘loyal’ people on the inside as at the rallies INSISTING DAMMIT that he should be KING and the pesky Democrats are just out to ‘ruin’ him.

This is Moscow Mitch’s Chamber. If he approves this, he has zero loyalty to this country, and he should be recognized by everyone as such.

Bingo.

Time for those in the Intelligence community to put members of Congress in their speed dials. Blow that whistle till you have no breath left!

Gonna have to speak up and speak around and over any new DNI, and provide the documentation and tapes to back it up.

That only short-term hope is that ratcliffe has some even-bigger-than-usual skeleton. But that bar keeps being raised.
