Inside The Russian Propaganda Mill Beaming Out Of A Florida Strip Mall - TPM – Talking Points Memo

When Ben Swann delivers a news report, he looks and sounds like any other TV anchor:  conventionally attractive, slick hair, clad in an unremarkable but well-tailored suit.

“Everybody comes to Florida to scam,” Fenster quipped.

A close second, too

Come back, we weren’t firing at you.

The one thing to this guy’s credit is that he’s actually registered as a foreign agent. The only thing. Otherwise, he’s just another grifter, preying on the terminally bewildered, while Putin lines his pockets.

Libel suits waiting to happen. This guy has some money to make it economically rewarding.

Evangelical, huh? Well, we know who is against America.

So Swann was a home schooled Evangelical that went into journalism for the money? His parents must be so proud.

Do you think that Americans that watch and support him even know what FARA is?

Well, it’s somewhat safer than handling snakes.

Homeschooling works its magic again on how to get along with folks who disagree with you.

Since it is absolutely positively clear that you can’t possibly be wrong when every body in your school (world) agrees with you.

Before the age of instant communications America kept it’s crazies, and not quite plumb folks to confined to their hometowns. Now they’re out roaming around the internet spreading the half baked and crazy throughout the world. And it only takes a little bit of :money_with_wings:

Lara Logan found a place to land featuring a conspiracy theory. Good lord.

The network hosts programming from influential faded stars like former CBS reporter Lara Logan and ex-CNN anchor Rick Sanchez. Logan is currently publishing a multi-part docuseries attempting to rewrite the history of January 6, casting it as a “fed-surrection”…

So, sanctions mean that Americans can’t pay any money to Russia, but Russia can pay millions of dollars to an American willing to serve as a fascist propagandist for Russia?

Cool.

Swann can go to hell in a handbasket, along with his Rebel Media.

But, to be honest, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA) was not wrong when he proclaims that “the American people are going to be stunned into acceptance of the reality that our FBI, our DOJ, and in some cases head people at our intelligence services have been corrupted by power.”

I seem to remember that Lt. Gen. Michal Flynn was the Defendant’s appointed U.S. National Security Advisor. Thankfully he only lasted a month on the job before resigning, and in December 2017, he pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with the Russian ambassador during the President’s transition. There were many agents of Russia in the Trump mob, Starting with Paulie Manafort his campaign manager. And some of them were registered FARA agents, too. Some of them even wre convicted and went to jail (for a month or so…)

I think this is why the missing binders issue is now a BFD, that we have just all pretty well blown off. Just more crimin’, same-old, same-old shit, pulled by this boat full of grifters. Rudy, do you want to talk about your connections as a Russian agent? How about you, Ron Johnson? What does Ms. Green Party candidate have to say?

As for swag management, who knows more about really awful management of his swag than Trump does. He’s the King of it. PFFT!

It’s a very odd thing for the U.S. to be deeply invested in a war that’s thousands of miles and oceans away,” Muirhead said

Really…Europe,Vietnam, Korea,Afghanistan,Iraq must have somehow moved just next door…that these assholes would have a scintilla of credibility with anyone but the fringiest of nutbars is difficult to fathom.

They probably are proud actually. And for a person who is home schooled, he seems pretty worldly in finding his revenue stream. Considering the moral flex that evangelicals have to do to support a Trump, this is just one more thing that they can look over and past.
