Even if the case is settled or dropped before the Gang of Six hears arguments, will that stop them from ruling? They dug up the corpse of the EPA’s power-plant anti-pollution plan just so they could kill it again.
The states that will take advantage of this have the greatest number of MAGATs. I’m old enough to remember them squealing that they didn’t want government in their Medicare.

This is the kind of grim and convoluted law, so boring to the people it will directly affect, that is going to come our way for the next 3 to 4 decades or more. This is the stuff that keeps me up at night.
I am telling my 36 year old daughter and her husband to count on nothing besides what they can save. This really alarms me since my wife and I would not survive without social security for very long. The Republicans talk about wokeness, but they are going after the New Deal.
I listened halfway to Tucker - one of the amazing things he says (among many) is that no one can explain Watergate to this day - one of the most well-documented and written about scandals and subsequent court cases of all time. Tucker Carlson is one scary bag of shit.
