Infamous White Nationalist, Former Senate Candidate Arrested On Kidnapping Warrant | Talking Points Memo

This is my question which I always ask myself - how do these guys make a living?
I mean, I don’t buy lattes, purses and shoes and all the other junk - my husband and I share a car and yet - I’d have to make a choice between a goat OR a gun. The trip to Florida OR the water bill. What the hell do they do all day? Where does their money come from?

They are all so damn angry all the time, you know it isn’t good for their health. Too bad for them. :joy:

They are wizards of weird, sorcerers of strange. You cannot possibly fathom their faculties. To do so will drive you insane. I caution you not to go there, if you value your sanity at all.

Maybe so, but it’s not going to happen now, which was kind of my point.

Most of the leaders of the right wing groups involved in that debacle have ended up in custody.

I started the year feeling optimistic and I still do.

Augustus Sol Invictus allegedly kidnapped his wife at gunpoint in South Carolina and drove to Florida, where he was arrested and is being held without bond. A Brevard County, Florida probable cause affidavit for Invictus said he was wanted for kidnapping, “high & aggravated” domestic violence and possession of a firearm during a crime of violence.

Defense: “Bitch didn’t want to go to Disney World. What’s a guy to do?”

Under a robust red-flag law, this guy would not be allowed to touch a firearm and would face an additional felony if he did. Alas.

I think the most mind-boggling part of this story is the fact that he has a wife! I know may be accused of blaming the victim here, but Christ, she’s gotta be nuts too!

Just a quick note: The town in SC is Rock Hill, as it was listed in the tweet that you cited.

Has anybody here ever seen (directly or indirectly) a white supremacist who appeared supreme in any particular way? They all come across as white-trash losers to my class consciousness. Even Pat Buchanan seems not much more than an angry Irish street brawler in a three-piece suit.

No, just abused.

It’s a pathology all its own.

Good goat blood drinking kidnappers on both sides.

That’s their most salient feature - they’re certainly white, but it stops there.

If these people represent the best that that the species has to offer, we’re headed for extinction, and not a moment too soon.

She’s been a hostage almost since they met, is my guess. The good news is this should result in a hefty prison term for this trash.

I don’t know much about Mr. Levin except he’s one of those people. But I have to doubt he’s quite as crazy as Augie S. Invictus. Call it a hunch.

Going forward that’s likely to be less of a problem. He may have weapons again someday, but they won’t be allowed weapons.

No idea. Well-wishers?

Depends. If he’s prosecuted in Florida there’s always the risk of Florida judge.
