Indicted TX AG Insists It’s ‘Ridiculous’ To Accuse Him Of Fishing For Pardon With SCOTUS Lawsuit

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is under indictment on charges of securities fraud, claimed on Thursday night that his long shot lawsuit to get the Supreme Court to nullify the election results is not an attempt to snag a pardon from President Donald Trump.

“Erick has no idea what he’s talking about,” Paxton said. “I’ve been working on these issues for the last year.”

It took him a year to come up with that laughable, ill-advised, pathetic lawsuit? Texas isn’t sending their brightest, I see.

We will see if Trump bites, but putting this in the news makes it less likely it will happen.

How is this self-serving idiot allowed to remain in his position - even in Texas. I feel sorry for The Onion, as reality has moved well past anything they ever wrote. How can the compete? The truth is in fact stranger than fiction. The challenge for intelligent individuals is to know and act upon the difference. Perhaps now we see the basis of the historical anti-education policies of the Republican Party?

The idea was that stupid people would vote for Republicans, not run as Republicans. You reap what you sow.

I wonder if his being the CEO of MyPardon is just a coincidence?

A year ago y’all were absolutely convinced that BLOTUS would be re-elected. A year ago, nobody thought Biden would get the nomination. A year ago nobody thought so many states were going to flip.

And this moron wonders why nobody believes this pathetic attempt to earn himself a pardon from Dear Leader is just out of the goodness of his heart and not for other reasons.

Dickhead.

You must admit that the timing is suspicious. Like perfectly timed stock trades for some. Like a perfectly timed FBI raid for others.

Texas ought to be countersued for the wastes of carbon they keep electing.

the election changes he opposes were less than nine months old, and the election was Nov 3… so he started work over a year ago (with his crystal ball?).

Well put, well put.

Lawsuit for pardon? A completely ridiculous notion…until the actual pardon is issued at 10 am on January 20, 2021.

Then some intrepid soul needs to reset all the clocks in the WH to be 3 hours too early.

Of course he’ll be in his pre-jail cell in Mary Lago by then.

Totally ridiculous!

Agreed… it is a ridiculous accusation. This is just Paxton showing off his keen legal mind.

I’m sorry because ordinarily I wouldn’t put a lot of stock in this but his mouth is in one interrogation room saying he’s completely innocent and his body English is in another blubbering out a confession. He’s sitting there cringing like a guilty dog.

No Ken does not want pardon. Ken Paxton is only auditioning to become vinyl doll Iwanka and Jared’s pool boy.
