Although there are currently not enough Indiana Republicans on board with the Trump administration’s midcycle redistricting pressure campaign to move forward with the redrawn maps, those who support President Trump’s midterms scheme are now bullying their colleagues to get in line. Indiana Senate Republicans, as of this week, have said they do not have the…
Vice President Kamala Harris:
When we fight, we win!
MAGA Republicans:
When we cheat, we win.
Or maybe not.
I’ve noticed over the past couple of election cycles that Republicans seem to be scrapping the bottom of their barrel. So if states want to redraw Congressional district lines then they’ll have to find someone to run. But they’re using up their talent.
The other thing that happens when one political party controls US House and Senate is that there are no places to move up. Between Republican controlled state houses and Republican controlled US House districts they will be stuck with places holders as Trump controls what can and can not be done.
This will get interesting.
“…radical Democrat Marxists wage war on our Constitution…”
While it might be tempting to view these Republicans as delusional, they’re not – they’re just objectively-evil, bald-faced liars.
Pretty rich to call Democrats Marxists when Trump has the government buying stakes in private companies. First it was Intel and apparently others are being considered.
I trust you’re using the word “interesting” as in Chinese curse “May you live in interesting times.”
Hoosier Ma? Hoosier Pa? Hoosier choice fer President?
I live in Indiana. I know this place. Republicans have a super majority and they look ridiculous when they complain about Democrats trying to steal from them. I called the office of my Senator and i told them that I not only thought redistricting is a bad idea, it is cheating and they know it and they are only doing it because Trump is bullying them. And what they need to be worried about is that Trump is tearing down the White House, ruining the economy, murdering people on the high seas and making all of us look bad. And the GOP might want to think about distancing themselves from this very unpopular President. Trump won this state, but not by a huge majority. A lot of people out here in Indiana are not happy with him.
Republicans always sound as if their remarks are passed through some sort of North Korean cult doublespeak filter.
He’s “buying”? I was under the impression he was telling those private companies that they needed to give shares to him – er, the US.
There have already been several others … I know of at least one copper company in Alaska. Totally below the radar companies who soar overnight. Insiders are without any doubt making millions with every announcement and tease. If it’s not the cruelty, it’s the grift. Usually both.
Because they are? Although the input is more likely from Russian troll banks.
Republican Gov. Mike Braun said on X on Wednesday that he is “confident the majority of Indiana Statehouse Republicans will support efforts to ensure fair representation in congress for every Hoosier[…]
…that is not Democrat or liberal in any way.”
*&^%$#@!
In a statement on Wednesday, Indiana’s GOP Lt. Gov. Micah Beckwith, issued a stark warning to fellow Republicans…
“Washington is being overrun by an anti-American agenda
He’s not wrong about that.
Isn’t that usually “Hoosier Daddy?”
Think of it as “market-based collectivization.”
That remark really hit home for me. I lived in Kansas for 15 years and in all that time felt I had 0 representation in Congress, since I voted Democratic.
