Heretic! Burn him!

I’d like, just for once, a republican who isn’t retired or retiring, to speak the truth. Is the entire GOP compromised in some way? It’s weird and astonishing.

Brave Sir Jeffrey ran away!
Bravely ran away away!

“Did Something Wrong”.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present the galactic understatement of the millennia.

Nice job, Flake. Now how about an op-ed where you admit doing something wrong, like, say, voting for Kavanaugh?

Jesus Jeff, just shut up. Go check the chlorine level in your AZ swimming pool while waiting for the lobbyists to call. If you’re looking for redemption, it’s too late.

“Yeah. He got caught.”

So he’s asking Republican Senators to show the backbone he never had?

And he’s not even asking for them to vote to convict, which any fair reading of the evidence would require. Some cowards never change.

Flake isn’t even in office anymore and he’s STILL trying to pull a Susan Collins.

Wow. Profile in wimpishness. Yes, Trump has been naughty, but you don’t need to do anything about it other than, perhaps, a strong tsk tsk.
It seems retirement hasn’t really made him more courageous; he’ll still come out against conviction after telling everyone repeatedly how troubling Trump’s conduct has been.

even though he was cornered by women in an elevator and nodded so nicely at them leaving the impression he’d do the right thing.

The Chosen One can do no wrong, so this is a non-starter.

When flaky Flake could have voted right he didn’t. Go away, Jeff.

He ends the op-ed with this gem If there ever was a time to put country over party, it is now.
Dude. It is ALWAYS time to put country over party.

You and Paul Ryan should start a support group.

Wait, this is the same Jeff Flake that didn’t find his own backbone until he decided to retire? Not only did he side with the rest of the party on Kavanaugh, he voted for a string of bad tRump cabinet and judicial nominees.

I care what he says almost as much as Paul Ryan.

They can’t help themselves! I’ve said from the beginning these people don’t need polite political debate. They need treatment and deprogramming as one would do with a cult member. If we view their behavior through the lens of mental illness it makes it easier not to get frustrated.

To Flake this is world-shaking courage. His hands were probably trembling as he wrote it. I must keep reminding myself of this—they don’t process reality the same way we do.

Tired of hearing from Flake -no one pays attention to him at all.
