All commentary about the silliness of this Executive Order is valid. But do want to point out that dictators (Eurasian ones, at least) really love the Brutalist style of architecture over Classical, despite the social media commentary.
Trump may be not incorrect when he notes that recently constructed federal buildings lack that certain je ne sais quois. But God help us if we let him determine what the alternative is.
