I’m happy to see a Cheney purged. Couldn’t happen to a more deserving dynasty. But it’s an ominous development for the Republican party, or the Trump Clown Car, or whatever it is now.

Why the half measure? Go straight to MTG.

“House Republicans need to be solely focused on taking back the House in 2022 and fighting against Speaker Pelosi and President Biden…"

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you (brace yourselves!) the GQP legislative agenda.

Scalise is a toad. Always WAS but when he got shot everyone started treating him like some kind of ‘statesman’ and nothing can be further from the truth. Stefanik is a mean girl. She has been working behind the scenes for years trying to elevate herself. They are nasty people completely devoid of any ethics, morals or values.

If for one second anyone doubts that Trump owns the Republicans…
They’re all Tucker Carlson now

In or out of leadership, Liz Cheney isn’t going to be muzzled. So be it. Dimwit McCarthy, et al are giving her plenty of media attention. So be it.

The spokesperson is using that old buzzword: “President Biden’s radical socialist agenda.”

Ironic isn’t it? McCarthy (as is Joseph McCarthy) and McCarthyism and the red scare is still with us. And here we have Kevin McCarthy spreading the same old nonsense, trying to ruin people’s lives as Joseph McCarthy did.

Communists on every corner. A communist in the White House. Be ready for this buzz term to become their watchword: a “radical socialist agenda” on every corner. Hey, it’s been working for these clowns for years… or has it?

FYI Trump banned from Facebook permanently
Facebook Oversight Board rules to permanently ban Trump’s account (msn.com)

That is really good news. I had worried that they were going go the route of letting him back on, taking months for more complaints to suspend him for a little while etc.

I guess they decided him personally having an account there doesn’t drive profits.

Wow, I’d like to have been a fly on the wall when Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg were discussing the ramifications of this one. It’s always a calculation with them, meant to target maximizing their profits (because, after all, they must do their best for their stockholders, that being a big responsibility and all). Clearly: they figure that banning Trump is good in terms of fending off regulation.

We don’t know yet (she’s my congresswoman. Ugh.) We are waiting to find out where the county numbers are, iirc. They do think it will be upstate, not sure what district just yet (based off the reporting I heard yesterday on WAMC).
