Chuck Edwards of North Carolina over findings that he behaved inappropriately toward two women staffers, showering them with gifts and attention, including reciting poetry…
Edwards had directed “excessive attention” toward the young women, including writing and tearfully reciting a poem for one staffer, sending handwritten notes and gifts, and inviting or pressuring the staffers on social outings.
Had he raped them, however, he’d be considered a good candidate to lead the newly reorganized Pentagon — the Mentagone — as soon as Pisco Packin’ Pete is shown the cargo bay door without a parachute. OTOH had the women been underage and he raped and even threatened to kill them, the Guardians Of Pedophiles would be slobbering and falling all over themselves to determine whether he should run as President or Vice President in '28.

Not impressed. The censure won’t mean all that much when he’s already withdrawn from his election campaign.
Put good money on the electorate sending him back to DC had he stayed in the running.
