Members of the House Intelligence Committee will remain in town this week to holding hearings as part of their impeachment probe, while the rest of Congress is on recess, Reuters reported.
People can say what they want about weak or feckless Democrats, all I can say is I wouldn’t want Schiff coming after me.
Until the election … 13 + months from now … there are NO DAYS OFF… there is no 'close of business" on any day … Trump tweets are launched at all hours … capitalizing on the old saying - a lie can travel around the world before the truth can get up and put its pants on.

Hear, hear! For all the incessant whining, one thing seems plainly obvious to me, the Dems were ready for this moment and loaded for fucking bear.
They’ve literally got hundreds of them.
Just have to track back to much earlier this year, and comments that they had “dozens” of whistelblowers talking to them.
I think they’ve been sitting on a bunch of stuff that just wasn’t movable-- either not impeachable by itself, maybe lacking solid enough evidence, but certainly enough to put them ready to move when something did finally drop that had enough behind it.

If Trump were innocent, he would not be behaving the way he is.
I know that sounds too simple, but not enough people have internalized it and understood it yet.
The same thing was said about the Comey firing, Mueller investigation, McCabe and Ohr slandering and so on. Somehow, when he lards it on thickly often enough, he gets enough traction to pull off his gaslighting. Certainly, he was successful at exploiting the long silences in the Mueller probe.
I think keeping the investigation going, creating a moving target which is constantly building against him, may be an effective answer to this, so I’m glad to see the Democrats doing it.
