I remember in high school our biology teacher explained that in 10,000 years there would only be one “race” and some of the kids in the class were near panicked upon hearing it.

Some have suggested that whites have no more than 1000 years at the current rate of mixed parentage. I think 500 years because there will be more lethal pandemics and those with “hybrid vitality” will fare better.

I’ve never understood why there is not a louder pro-miscegenation lobby. I mean, I know race is largely a social construct, and that it would be nobler to just convince everyone that it is no more relevant to evaluating others than their birthdate or favorite Beatle, but I see no sign that the high-minded approach is going to work. Why not reward people for mixing it up so as to hasten the demise of racial differences? I suppose the objection I can think of is simply that a 2075 Fox anchor will instead goad the pro-Ringo Aquarians to eliminate the Pro-George Taurans.
