Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) on Sunday claimed that he wasn’t questioning President Biden’s capabilities as commander in chief, following the Texas senator’s tweet last week that took issue with the President’s normal tweets.
Just wait until Biden’s infrastructure package gets passed, then maybe Cornyn will know who is in charge. Actually, he will probably continue to make stupid insinuations about Biden’s policies, which is all the GQP has these days.
Hint - he’s busy trying to undo the inconceivable damage your party did over the last four years, in the face of uniform opposition from your party, and he chooses not to govern by media as your most recent President did.
Republicans really can’t make anything stick to Biden. If this is the sum of their politics when it comes to Joe, this is going to be a very bad, long 4 years for them. And they so richly deserve it.
Completely and totally OT, but wanted to post this.
Yesterday my wife and I went shopping at Trader Joe’s, and when we parked we observed a young man in army fatigues selling guns to another young man about 2 spaces away from us. He gave him a rifle and a hand gun of some kind and got an envelope (stuffed full of cash, I assume) in return. Then I think he sweetened the sale with some boxes of ammo. This was all done out in the open - there was nothing furtive about it.
My wife wondered if we should call the cops or take any action, and I told her there was nothing to report because nothing we had just witnessed was illegal. Private gun sales is not a “loophole” - it is like saying selling drugs is illegal unless it happens to be between two adults in a parking lot. It is insane on its face.
Probably just a Craig’s List transaction or something similar.
John Cornyn is still Trump’s bitch. I’m not insinuating anything, just posting my thoughts out loud.
Before tRump, governing by Twitter wasn’t a thing. Neither was Executive Time, or taking the time to openly insult people for disagreeing with you. Life was so different under tRump, and based on the things he said and did, one has to wonder why he never had a bad thing to say about Putin, why he generally did things that supported Russia and why the republican Party fell in line in it’s support of Putin and Russia. All that invites the question: was Trump really in charge?
And here I was thinking Cornyn didn’t have time to read tweets, but I guess that was when the former guy was in charge.
Might I advise Cornyn that he’d be much better off spending time reading up on real issues in order to avoid confusing satirical writings with reality?
