A few months before Sandy I was in a Jersey beach town called Mantoloking that was nothing but hundreds of immense, gorgeous mansion-like houses. One after the other for mile after mile. Then came Sandy and it tore the hell out of damn near all of them and dug a big inlet right through the island. There may come a day when you canāt insure a house like that.

Yup. I was a small child when Celia came through. Lived about a dozen blocks from Corpus Christi Bay.
My one memory was looking out the front window at the trees blowing sideways before mom freaked TF out for some reason 
and yanked me away.
By this time this was the 2nd or 3rd time I didnāt die from something that I probably shouldāve died from. Apparently Someone Had / Has (I still canāt tell 
) a plan for meā¦

I believe its already up to 180mph sustained winds.
Thatās the wind speed they can measure, btw. The estimates are currently at around 200mph at sea level.
This is a monster, that is still growing fast and moving very, very slowly.

Excuse me! Weāre under a national emergency situation with hoards of undesirables pouring across our border in the South. We can not afford to give everyone a roll of paper towels-you only get one sheet. One sheet per person because Trump sent all the emergency disaster funds to build his wall which wonāt hold back the wind, rain or tide surge.
