Just a few of the more than 900 guests invited to an indoor holiday party hosted by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo showed up on Tuesday following a flood criticism that the event could become a superspreader for coronavirus, the Washington Post reported late Tuesday.
The news is that more than 90% invitees are smarter than the Secretary of State.

The Invitees included lots of career state department employees and their families. Non-cult members already looking ahead to a Biden presidency, these are people who likely believed what the scientists are saying and decided to skip. — if they ever intended to go and hang out with Pompey in the first place.
And he didn’t show up, either, so the joke’s on those who did!

I’m kind of nervous. After literally 5 months of restoration work, it’s drivable, but I’ve only moved it back and forth a few feet on the driveway. The steering and brakes work, all the lights are good, new battery, fluids all topped off, engine sounds fine, clutch engages and disengages. It’s just that it’s been so long since I’ve driven it, I keep expecting it to break down halfway around the block. I doubt it will, but it’s like that feeling you get before a major exam or when your boss calls you into their office.
