How Trump's Failed 2020 COVID Policy Birthed His 2024 Public Health Nominees

It would make sense if the reactionaries were able to obscure what they are planning and, instead, got voters to support an erroneous impression of what Trump I was about (and the reality of what was achieved under the Democrats.)
Thus, propaganda and a failure of the press.
You know, like with folks who’ll believe that because Donnie’s mad big signature was on a US treasury check they received, it was somehow from the fraudster hisself.

Al Gore, sure. But if only we’d kept JIMMY CARTER in 1980, instead of that Reagan guy, who rolled back everything civilized and set us firmly on the path we’re now on.

So, you’re saying COVID is Republican???

This man’s fat ass was saved by monoclonal antibody treatment. He caught covid before there were effective vaccines. Medical science saved his ass but that did not prevent him from promoting hydroxychloroquine and light up the ass (or somehow by injection). He also said covid would go away in warm weather. When all his pronouncements failed and people continued to get sick and die he said he took no personal responsibility… at all.

I said the virus had no brain and therefore no ability to have a political belief. But I can see how lack of a brain could equate to being a republican. :sunglasses:

In private, people have said the newly-re-elected Felon refers to his followers in terms of contempt. Think “suckers” and “losers”. One longs for a “A Face in the Crowd” moment … although in 21st c America, it probably would make no impression.

Think, “Fake news!”
I’m guessing the control of information will be one of the administration’s actual priorities.

Holy cow. This is sheer madness. All these kooks in charge of agencies & departments charged with the safety of public health. It’s completely unconscionable.

It’s what a slim majority of voters wanted.
They should not whine about the cost of groceries (assuming availability) but they will and goobers in power will try to blame Biden and his people

Right! They should have been on the front line. I know so many docs who were & quite a few succumbed to CoV.

If only these charlatans, fraudsters & quacks had.

Actually, as more numbers come in he did not get majority of total votes cast. He simply got more votes than Harris.

Besides, the masses are asses, I don’t want my health & public safety jeopardized because of these ignoramuses. Smdh

So US Health policy next year is gonna be in the hands of lunatics who think vaccines are dangerous but raw milk is safe.

It’s only a matter of time until they bring back the idea that the Sun revolves around the Earth.

Only a matter of time…

I’ve taken the view that as long as they allow the informed and responsible the options to be vaccinated and drink pasteurized milk, then perhaps herd immunity really means culling the herd. They can all get a Darwin award for participation.

Lucky thing the oceans stay on that tilted plate.
And another thing… what does that turtle eat?

The shear mass of the turtle and elephants creates a downward gravitational pull.
As for the turtle’s food, I have to assume that there’re celestial fishes in the celestial sphere.

Interesting perspective from Scott Gottlieb about RFK Jr. and what he can do to undermine vaccination programs and rates. None of it is good. Does Trump care if kids die from preventable childhood illnesses? Who knows but I kind of doubt it.
